Recent news of national economic woes has some of us feeling a bit stressed out; But we're hopeful that these corrections and changes are outward signs of a society waking up to unsustainable behaviors. Maybe our nation is feeling the shock of suddenly realizing that huge poorly built homes in far-flung exurbs and big gas-guzzling family vehicles were not such wise ideas. The positive side of all this is that we may now finally be ready to take a big step toward sustainable culture, and away from mindless consumption. Hopefully, Home Green Home and others in the sustainable business sector will ultimately benefit from increasing demand for high-quality, durable and healthy goods.
Thanks for supporting our business and mission!

More Models, Styles, Fabrics

In the past month or so we've about doubled our inventory of sofas and armchairs from Cisco Brothers. We've always loved the quality, healthy materials, and integrity that go into Cisco Brothers' products, and we're excited to be able to show off a more substantial selection of their pieces. From the simple and comfy Zumi sofa & chair which demonstrate the "wool wrapped latex" cushion fill option, to the sophisticated contemporary design of the Urban sofa & chair, we now have a style for just about any setting. And if you thought organic textiles only came in beige, ivory and oatmeal, come check out the rich colors and patterns of some of these new pieces - organic and low impact fabrics are really evolving quickly!

Every catalog in the mailbox seems to trumpet "green furniture" these days, but while most of those are still mostly plastic (oil), Cisco is the real deal. Meet founder Cisco Pinedo, who designs the furniture, and take a tour of his LA factory in this short video.
